Could you tell - Are these sentences correct-

Context : Jane is a person who tends to make bad decisions and then end up in a mess. So. these statements are made to Jane.

1. I warned you every time before you set off on your misadventures.


2. I warned you every time before you set off on your little escapades.

I can see where Jane might set off on an adventure, but I doubt she set off with the intention of having a misadventure, so I would not use the first one without changing misadventures to adventures . Otherwise, both are OK. CJ

I can see where Jane might set off on an adventure, but I doubt she set off with the intention of having a misadventure, so I would not use the first one without changing misadventures to adventures.
