Error Identification

(1) As you all know that it takes a lot of hard work to become a world-class gymnast.
(2) As you all know , it takes a lot of hard work to become a world-class gymnast.

Why the first one should be changed to the second one?

Could anybody help me with it?

'As you all know' is a subordinate clause. Try removing it.
