Probelm here appear to be in my grammar knowledge -
the sentence is - Scientists struggling to find ways to prevent cancer have found new hope in the humble grape : a team of researchers at the university of illions found that a compound in grape skins can block the substances that stimulate tumour growth.No error
I spot for the mistake struggling to - but afterwards I see that there is no error - why ? Which is this structure struggling to - I think that must be Scientists were struggling to - past progressive - but Scientists struggling to is not past progressive so than what is ?
