Error Correction

The exercise is :

For question 1-8 below,complete the second sentence with three or eight words so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence,using the word given.Do not change the word given

The best architect will be presented by the major. In Bold is the gap - this mean that there I put the words whicht I think must be put.

2.This year the police have arrested more drivers than usual for speeding.The word is "number"

This year an a great number of drivers have been arrested for speeding. I don't know the phrase with "an" and "number" so I decided to put a great number.

3.The sea is gradually eroding the cliff face in this area. Word - worn

The cliff face in this area is being worn away by the sea.

As quick as possible is not grammatical. Stick to as soon as possible or as quickly as possible.

It is saying that the completion was scheduled for last month but the 'should' shows us that it wasn't finished on time.
