error analysis

She like him. And I in skeptical/ in no faith give her two month atop before they break up.

Are they ok ?

Why is the word noun "tops" in plural, and why are there commas between " tops "? Moreover, what does the word "tops" mean?

"tops" means "at the most."

He means two months is the longest he can imagine that they will stay togethers.

If it were "I give them two months, maximum, before they break up" would that look more natural? Or would you question why "maximum" was also set off in commas?
