What is the error in the given sentence?

This photograph was comparatively better than that which he had kept in his purse.

My answer is no error but given answer is " replace better with good".

Reason- We don't use comparative form after comparatively/relatively.

Hmm. ... was comparatively good than that which ... is not going to work at all. It's wrong.

I've never heard that rule about 'comparatively'.
