Ergative verbs ???

Can we say as ergative verbs :

reduced blood volume = blood volume had been reduced ?

Top answer

Did an agent, like a type of medication or a medical procedure, reduce the volume or did it just become smaller on its own? If the former, it's not ergative. If it's the latter, then it is ergative.
