Erasmus motivational letter

Hi! i know there are a lot of these topics but i really would appreciate if someone could check my Erasmus letter. I'm not native English speaker so i could use a little help. Also reccommondations about the content are welcome !

Dear Sir or Madam,

With this letter, I would like to express my interest in spending a year at X University in X, in faculty of agronomy as an Erasmus student.

First, i would like to introduce myself. My name is X X. Im currently attending my second year at X University of X X, my speciality is production and marketing of agricultural products. I am 21 years old and i was born in X, X.

There are several reasons why I have decided to apply for the Erasmus program. Agricultural production and it's technique are not the same through the word. It would be very interesting and useful to see how thing are done outside my country , in a place with defferent climate and relief.

Being an Erasmus student would be a very efficient and spontanious way to improve my english. I have been learning english for 12 years but i havent had many chances to use it so far.

Last but not least, it's a exellent way to meet new people from all over the world. Where else could I meet so varied group of young people, spend with them such a long time and get to know their habits, attitudes and culture? I think living, studying, travelling and having fun within an international group of students would broaden my horizons and enable me to build friendships with people from whole Europe.

Now the reasons i decided to apply for studying in Czech Republic.I would like to learn another foreign language. Besides english, i also speak little bit russian. I am planning to take language courses and in the end of my stay, i hope that i can speaks czech too. As i said before, i wold like to go to a county with different climate. Weather in there is milder than in X so im curios to see what impact is has on agriculture. X University in X has a good amount and ragne of courses in english that combine with my university program.

I am sure, that Erasmus experience would be extremely exciting, educational and valuable for both my professional and overall personal development.

Merge the first two paragraphs.

Allow me to introduce myself: My name is X X; I am 21 years old; I was born in X, X; and I am currently finishing my second year at X University of X X. My specialty is in the production and marketing of agricultural products. I would be delighted if you would consider allowing me to spend a year at X University in X, in faculty of agronomy as an Erasmus student.

No one cares if you would like to introduce anything. Just do it. Don't waste time with the trivial. However, the introductory sentence there allows for flow, so we'll keep it. The last sentence includes your preference because the first paragraph is a good place to include the purpose of the letter. Work on capitalization consistency.

Sure it would be interesting, but you need to clarify what that has to do with you.

One of the several reasons I decided to apply is based solely on curiosity. As agricultural production and technique are not uniform throughout the world, I believe that participating in the Erasmus program would provide an great opportunity to compare how things are done outside my country.

The first sentence would read better if "spontanious" (correctly spelled as "spontaneous") was replaced with "intense". Delete very. "Very" is an unconvincing word.

The second is missing a comma between "years" and "but". Capitalize.

Note that this rhetorical question can be easily answered.

The general sound of this third point sounds like you made it to meet the criteria of having three points. You could easily combine it with the second point. Why does this one merit its own paragraph? Also, I was under the impression that this was your last point.
