Erase / remove / delete / eliminate / wipe out...

Which verb is correct in this sentence?

Go to the forest and make the tiger's body disappear, but don't *** its tracks.

I would say the most idiomatic of them all is "erase", but I am not completely sure.

Is it possible to use another one different of the five I mentioned above?

Of course, in this context, "tracks" means footprints, marks, etc.

I would say "erase" or "wipe away" the tracks would be the most common usage. Those would suggest the actual bodily movements necessary. Remove, delete, eliminate are more abstract and formal.
