Hello together,
Is this sentence correct?
"This state-of-the-art system achieves a durability equivalent to conventional systems."
Or had I better say?
"This state-of-the-art system achieves a durability equivalent to that of conventional systems."
Kind regards,

This state-of-the-art system achieves a durability equivalent to that of conventional systems.
You should include "that of".
"That" acts as a pro-form here, which has "durability" as its antecedent.
So we understand: ... a durability equivalent to the durability of conventional systems.
