equivalent

Does sentence 1 mean the same thing as sentence 2. Is sentence 1 natural? Can you use 'equivalent in this way?

1 The number of victories is equivalent to your level.

2 Considering your level, you should have that many victories.

(1) suggests to me that if you have one victory then you are at level one, if you have two victories then you are at level two, and so on. (2) is possible, provided it is clear from the previous context what "that many" refers to. It does not mean the same as (1).
