equally, in the same way, impartially

In learning language, it's necessary to understand different cultures and treat people from those cultures (. ).

Is it possible to use equally, impartially, in the same way for the blank? My guess is that "in the same way" doesn't fit be because it's ambiguous. Maybe "in the same way as you would treat people from your own culture" would work?
