Please help me with this.
He fought for equal rights.
I come across this statement when my students write about leaders.
My question: The phrase though tells us what they mean as we know the leader and his life, but the phrase by itself is vague.
Something like this seems OK to me.
He fought for equality of rights among all the citizens.
