EQUAL

Hi,
I'm not very sure about the meaning of this EQUAL here:
'He incorporated every living thing into something and made it scream- everything side by side created EQUAL- old tennis shoes, vending machines, dueling pistols ...'

It does mean "uniformity"?, a whole?

Thanks in advance, Jo.

Hi, Consider this famous phrase from the American Declaration of Independence: all men are created equal. In general terms, it means there are no differences in their rights. If there are no differences of any kind, things can be said to be 'uniform'.
