Envinronmental problems essay (Fixed)

I'm an IELTS beginner. Please help me to indicate my mistakes. Thank you so much.
** Some people believe that you should be fined if you do not recycle. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In developing world, global environmental problems are growing concern. I partly agree with this assertion, while people will be fined if they do not recycle, I believe that it would not be the best way to fight climate change.
National authorities should impose fining policy on people who do not recycle. By adopting this policy, governments would certainly ensure that a huge amount of plastic waste was decreased. Fewer plastic excess would mean a reduction in water and soil pollutant. This would have global consequences, slowing the process of global warming as the quantity of plastic waste discharged environment was reduced. In term of natural food resources, recycling instead of being irresponsible disposal of chemical products there would limit fishes will choke or die result from eating them which called toxic waste. Thus I believe that governments should expert pressure on citizens to impose them on recycling.

However, I would argue that recycling is not an only measure to alleviate environmental issues. Governments should invest in mass transit systems. This is because buses and trains can carry more passengers than private vehicles. If more people chose public transport, there would be fewer vehicles on tue roads that leading to a reduction in exhaust emission. Singapore’s MRT is a good example for this. Ever since this nation has prioritized funding for mass transit, the quality of air has been improved remarkably. Furthermore, decreasing the cost of renewable energy is also a practical way to tackle global environmental problems. By reducing fees for alternative energy resources, authorities would encourage people to use them easily. Thus there would ve less dependence on unrenewable power.

In conclusion, although fining people who do not recycle would contribute to reduce the speed of environmental degradation, there are more effective ways to deal with these global’s concerns.
