Entry Into Education

In some definition of "entry" in this http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/entry:

"2a --the right to become a member of an organization, profession, or other group
entry to/into"

a example of whose usage is given:

"Older students are being denied entry into full-time education."

Full-time education is not an organization or group. So, is the example wrong?
