Ensure + double objects

Some dictionaries say the verb 'ensure' can be followed with a double object construction, as in :

I can ensure you a nice job./ The letter will ensure you a hearing.

Could you tell me whether this sentence below with the verb 'ensure ' has correctly used the double object structure?----

To ensure our people the rights to subsistence and development is in itself a major contribution to the progress of the world human rights cause.
