enquires for master program

Hi there,

I am applying for a master program, while the admission is due soon, and my uni grades aren't great (graduated with a H2B). It is very highly likely that my admission will fail because of the grade but all I need is lenience and willingness to know more about my passion towards the program I'm applying for, as well as the related experiences and interpersonal qualities I own. Words failed me when I wanted to convince them to accept my application. I need heaps of advice

My current approach is to send an e-mail of enquiry about the program, while making myself known to the key persons in the program. My first part of my letter resembles a motivation letter, while ending it with questions (superficially asking for the program, but intentionally try to present myself). I couldn't find a sample letter that serves this purpose. I have written 3/4 of it and expects to write multiple revisions. However, I wish not to post it publicly yet. Is it okay if I speak to someone in private?

I doubt you will find anyone here to speak to you in private, Kristy, so I don't want you to be sitting around waiting. However, it may reassure to know that your standard of English is excellent and whatever you write will impress any recipient. Have confidence in your ability.
