Hello,
I sent an email to a university last week to add a certificate into my application package so that they could consider about merit award. I do not have enough money to attend the course without that scholarship. 10 days have passed and I have not received their reply, while deadline for enrollment confirmation is next Friday. I am very worried.
I used yahoo mail box and attached a document in that email, thus I wonder whether the email was automatically moved to their spam folder. I want to send them an email to check about this matter but I do not want them to think that I am trying to "push" them. Could you please help to give me some advice on below email? I have tried a lot but could not write down a satisfactory one.
"Dear Sirs,
Last week I sent you an email to ask for more financial support and I have not received the reply. I am wondering whether my email was automatically moved to your spam folder as it had an attachment. I am therefore re-sending the email without attachment. If you already received the email, please ignore.
I understand that you are very busy at this time of the year, but this scholarship is very important to me. I really need it to attend the program. My deadline for enrollment confirmation is 28 April, which is only one week ahead.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully "
Thank you very much

Thanking 'in advance' is rather presumptuous, though I realize that many people use the phrase.
