Enough space for sb

Hello there. I have a question.

Do the following two sentences mean the same thing? --

(A) This room is large enough for Alice.

(B) This room has enough space for Alice.

Actually, (B) sounds a little odd to me. To me, it sounds like the room has just the space for Alice's body and doesn't have much extra space. What do you think?

Top answer

I think that both are acceptable but (A) is the more usual one.
