Enjoying vs to enjoy

How is enjoying different from to enjoy?
And also some other verbs like "admit" are like enjoy how about them?

Ecxept for the defective/modal auxiliaries, all English verbs behave in the same way grammatically. Intransitive verbs cannot of course be used in the passive voice. Enjoying is either a present participle or a gerund.
