Enhance versus develop

Hi! What is the difference between “enhance” and “develop”? Does enhance or improve mean the same thing? Thanks, Fulvio

1. I want to enhance my German language skills. ( I want to improve my German)

2. I want to develop my German language skills. ( I want to build my skills in the German language)

3. Steve Jobs developed the I-phone. (Through research he developed (built) an I-phone through time)

Enhance usually means "make more beautiful or pleasing." I don't use it very often. It is not for general development and improvement. Here are some sentences I would use.
