English usage?

Hi!
Does anyone know if "I like to ask a favor...." is a proper English usage vs "I'd like to ask a favor ...."?

Thanks,

No, is it not, Chia. 'I would like /I'd like to ask a favor' are the only acceptable choices here, though of course there are other ways of soliciting favors.
