I heard a sentence like this: I was fine until we went back and haven't looked at each other.
Is it correct? I heard it from a native english speaker, so I can't decide. "...haven't looked at each other" seems to me as if it refers to the future. So how to use "until" exactly? Please help! Thank you in advance..

That is pretty strange at first glance. I suspect that the speaker meant something like, "I was fine until we went back and subsequently haven't looked at each other", which might make more sense as, "I was fine until we went back and began to ignore each other." The speaker jumbled the tenses a bit; this usage is not normal and is not a good model.
