Could you fix the sentences plaese?

1. What makes a bottle of soda go flat quicker, leaving the cap off or opening it She leaves the cap off the bottles because she like her coke flat.
2. If the doctors were prepared to treat him, if they only knew what to treat him for, he might have survived.
3. Who is the comment about?
4. I don't want to [have to] owe you money, so I don't want to you to lend me any.

I'm not a native speaker, so you're welcome to correct me if I'm wrong; but it seems to me that the second sentence might just need a change in tense.
If doctors had been prepared to treat him; if only they had known what to treat him for, he might have survived.
