English speaking Help

I have been living in uk for almost 7 years but still cant speak fluent english nor the britsh accent and my english i pretty much the same as it was 7 yrs ago.Btw i was only 18 yrs old when i came and i could speak,read,write but over the years i have stressed too much that it looks like that i have forgotten it completely and will never be able to speak like native nor sound like one and for that reason i havnt been able to make any friends at college nor i work and have made myself isolated.I see girls chit chatting etc and i have to kee quiet all the time bcoz i hav nothing to say and my life is basically put on hold.i see people who come 2 yrs ago and start speaking fluently but why not me????help me out plzzzzzzzzzzz

v. in English. I think you should be more bold when it comes to college and work, if you're too shy to speak to people, then you won't be able to get enough practice in to speak to them in the first place.

You should spend a lot of time listening to the radio, and watching t.v. in English. I think you should be more bold when it comes to college and work, if you're too shy to speak to people, then you won't be able to get enough practice in to speak to them in the first place. I bet your problem is really anxiety rather than your English.

If you came to England at 18 it's very unlikely you will totally get rid of your accent. You may feel more confident if you just accept that. It really isn't a problem for English people - we have people from all over the world here and are used to all sorts of accents. English people have a wide range of accents ourselves -

I'm not native but I do know that first of all you should learn the phonetic symbols and then with every word you look up you should try to pronounce it exactly.when you do this a lot then without any phonetic help you can read every word exactly.
I think it would be a great help to listen all day long to The Beatles [Y], then you'd love to repeat the way they sing and this will help your spe
