English speaker ;convoluted sentences please help me correct

Could you please help me correct these sentences please?

1 When carrying it , make sure you computer is facing in/inward when it's in its bag.
2 I've made sure never to drop my phone. That's why it's not broken all these years.
3 People in the subway a sunday morning this early are going home having been out all night most of the time.
4 He changed sides. He used to be a bad guy, but now he's with the good guys.
