English rhetoric and fallacy.

What type of rhetorical device and fallacy is this...i was able to locate it, but have a ahrd time labelingit specifically.

Fallacy:Many studies consider only short-term outcomes, are often based on questionnaires completed by women shortly after an abortion, and are administered by abortion providers who are biased in favor of a positive outcome, she says.

This looks like it might be an exercise of some kind; so I think we can only offer hints. But for the rhetorical device, you might want to consider Ring-Cassidy's [what an ancient Greek might have called "lessening"] of the research by contrast with his "gold standard".

The second example seems to incorporate at least two fallacies; you could look at the [what did he call them?] abortio
