At the moment I am doing my internship for several weeks at Rabobank Nederland and I would like to share my experience with you and tell something about my research. The next five minutes I will tell you about the Rabobank, my activities and the research that I am doing during my internship.

Rabobank provides services in the areas of banking, leasing, insurance and real estate. In the Netherlands, the bank focuses primarily on financial services and Rabobank International focuses primarily on food and agribusiness During the internship period, the trainee has been allowed to carry out various activities for Rabobank. These activities all took place at the Private Individuals department in the bank hall. The work that I have done during the internship can be divided into two categories. The first category is providing service and helping customers. For example: transferring money, raising a pass limit and registering a visit to the safe lockets. The second category includes activities that are more of administrative activities and that do not involve direct customer contact. This includes the processing of the mail. And now the research The manager of the Private department of Rabobank Parkstad Limburg has commissioned a study into banking. This is because banking has developed considerably over the years. From transfer papers to internet banking and mobile banking. In the future of the civil society of civil society, not in the developments. That is why the manager of the Private Banking department of Rabobank Parkstad Limburg would like to know how the elderly can best be served.

Organizations try to digitize their services as much as possible. For example, a lot of information is only arranged on the internet and can be dealt with. Many elderly people are not yet at home on the computer and are missing information. The increasing use of the Internet ensures that there are more moves involved.

The central question (problem definition) is as follows: How can Rabobank ensure that older customers keep well connected with the new forms of banking?

The following sub-questions can be formulated on the basis of the main question:

- Rabobank offers its customers the possibilities for banking at the moment - What problems can older people encounter regarding the possibilities offered by Rabobank? - What is Rabobank doing at the moment, nationally and locally, to help older people to bank more easily? - Which new forms of banking will come on the market?
