English Place Manner Time Order

Hi,
My teachers explained me that the order in a sentence is PMT or TMP. But now i was listening someone said
"On the other side stood a girl"
"on the other side a man was falling down the stairs"
"(At 10) In school I played with the other kids baseball"

So i am confused now, are there any special rules how to order Time, Place and Manner?
