English Morphology Research Paper

Hey,
I may need your advice.
I have to write a few research papers. Each one 15 pages. One is dealing with EnglishMorphology and I thought of writing about one of the word-formation processes like compounds or conversion. But I am not sure. Do you have some good ideas/proposals for a research paper in Morphology? What could be specific questions to be answered?
