English major at the Univercity

I have question.Is it good to study English at the univercity?Why?I want to be an English professor,but I love Genetics science too.I don't know what shoud I do.Please share your ideas with me.Emotion: smile

I think you had better study genetic science, and continue your self-study in English or attend some English classes.

My understanding is that you can be an English professor if you get a high score in IELTS or TOEFL or receive CPE without having any university degree in English.

So you can get a job related to genetic science and be an Englis

Based on your posting, I'd say your English basic is quite weak. But that is not to say that you can't improve. Anyone with the corrrect learning approach and intense studying can improve his English. The most important question is, which do you have most interest on? Do be swayed into doing something you regret later.
