English letter correspondence

Hi everyone!
Can you help me please wih my english correspondence...
My native is serbian. I am working as a secretary of some organization and I wrote in my mail to another person following phrase "I thank you from the front of "XXX" (name of organization) for the warm welcome" and my colleagues found fault in the part of sentence I marked. Can you tell me please, whether their objection is justified and if it is, how can I say this correctly?
