0I have been learning English with a lot of software and Rosetta Stone was my first one. In 2000 I used to like it but I don't anymore and the reason is simple, it is not good enough and it is a very bad value for money but I wouldn't use it for free. If you are practising with software, there are certain problems like recording/voice recognitiation and communication.

I have experience with the following programms, available on the German market:

1) Rosetta Stone
2) Tell me more
3) English- Digital Publishing
4) English perfect - Cornersen.

My favourite is Nr. 3 for many reasons, the according quality is very good, which is not the case for Nr. 4. At all it is very good value for money, the English programm cost 99 € a
