Do you know that English is a strange language? Why?
Here is the answer: many words and concepts in English are not understandable and raise a big exclamation mark (!) Take these points as few examples:
1. Why is there an s in lisp?
2. Why are bathrooms called like this while most of them don't have baths?
3. Why a tv set is called like this while many people have one only?
4. Why is the waiter (one who serves in a restaurant) called like this while the customer is the one who actually waits?
5. If the plural of " foot " is " feet " , why the plural of " booth " is not " beeth " ?
6.Why is an "eggplant" called like this while it does not have any egg ?
7.Why is a " pineapple" called like this while it is not related to any pine or apple?
