English in Cuba

Hi guys

Congratulations on the site. It´s just great!

I have been developing a research on ENGLISH TEACHING IN CUBA. As you might know, it´s not that easy to get some information about it.

If you have any info or suggestion, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
I do really appreciate your help.

I am an English teacher in Brazil and have already had some experience in Havana, Cuba.

Thanks a lot
Alexander

I'm not sure if the following teacher training program actually helps with job placement in Cuba, but it is the only one I know of that has a presence there: United TESOL

Don't know if you're still around .. .

One only has to look at bi and trilingual societies to see clear - albeit superficial - evidence that two cultures are inevitably involved where two languages coincide.

If one learnt a language purely by rote-learning of grammar and vocabulary, and pronunciation by copying soundwave depictions of native speakers, and practiced with texts

Since the start of this thread, there has been no reply from the thread poster, so it makes me wonder, is this still an active thread?

I too would like to ask for information... Seems pretty cheeky since the reason for the thread is to gather, not give out information... But then sometimes you gotta give a little to get a little!

Also seems that this information is difficul
