Topic: Some people think that the development of technology has made our life more complex and the solution is to live a simpler life without that technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In the present age, some people argue that technological evolution has made our life more complicated and the solution is to remove smart devices from our life. Personally, I disagree with this statement.
Some people opine that the development of modern devices has rendered our life more complicated because this development results in risks of Internet security such as private information leakage. However, this thinking is flawed, the technological evolution also allows humans to create software that could protect users' information such as BKAV. In addition, this development has invigorated the government to introduce new legislation which has tightened controls over cybercrime. Hence, information leakage is not a huge problem when this development has happened.
On the other hand, there are myriad compelling reasons why people should live a life within technology. To begin with, technology has rendered humans' life more convenient. This is because the development of technology ushered in a new era of people's life; people could communicate with another person instantly, instead of writing letters, or robots could help humans deal with tedious daily tasks and dangerous work. In addition, today, modern equipment has pervaded humans' life, merely smartphones. So if smart devices disappear, people might feel inconvenient as evidenced by most people do not crave to wait day by day to receive a letter.
In conclusion, I am dissatisfied with the argument that humans should live without modern devices and subscribe to the view that technological evolution offers benefits to our life.
