This is the scenario: My friend was not able to leave on her flight last week becuase of the weather, so the next morning when she did leave, it was said that "she (finally) got left this morning". Or, as another example, I have also heard "We didn't get left till 6:00 this morning". . .which means "We were finally able to leave at 6:00 this morning." Just wondering if it can be correct to use "g
