I haven't heard of ' Corrosponding verbs " Regarding ' predicate adjective ', eg. The food smells good. ( good is predicate adjective ) because it is after the copula verb ' smells ' instead of a verb to be ' is ' ' are ' ' was or were '.

Also after forms of 'to be', a predicate adjective (instead of an adverb) has to be used:
The food is good (instead of: The food is well).

A predicate adjective usually follows the >predicate in a sentence, unlike an attributive adjective, which is followed by a noun:

The slow car. (slow = attributive adjective)
The car is slow. (slow = predicate adjective)
