English Grammar question

Hi,

I have a problem with a sentence, where I'm not sure if I've used grammar correctly.

Can you please tell me if the two sentences below are correct or wrong? If incorrect how can I formulate the sentence to give the right meaning.

1) I, who use the above telephone number, am sending this information.

2) I, who is the user of the above telephone number, am sending this information.

Hi Nilakshi, You don't have to say "who" at all. The correct sentence would be "I, the user of the above telephone number, am sending this information". In practice, a native speaker would probably use a slightly different structure.

You don't have to say "who" at all. The correct sentence would be "I, the user of the above telephone number, am sending this information".

In practice, a native speaker would probably use a slightly different structure. For example:

"I'm using the above number and I'm sending you this information"

But your original sentences would both be underst

Presumably, you're going to be signing the letter or giving you name in the email, so it's unnecessary to say that you are sending the information. Why not just say,

My phone number is ***-***-xxxx.

Or begin with,

The information below concerns phone number ***-***-xxxx.
