English/ grammar help

Hello,

I am writing a cover letter for a job and I want to tell them why I am interested in applying to work for their company.

Please review this for me for any grammatical errors.

I am attracted to Unilever because of their great reputation as one of the world's leader in consumer goods with a strong dedication to improve the lives of consumers, their communities and the world as a whole.

Please let me know if there is any mistakes.

Thank you very much for your help.

wow really!!! why do you think it is flattering? Maybe I shouldn't say that then. would you suggest a better of say it without flattering. it wasn't really my intention, I just wanted to let them know that I know how popular and how successful they have been throughout the world.

Such a statement is common enough in employment applications, and I find it excessive only in that it is too vaguely and grandiosely laudatory. I am familiar with Unilever, but not that it has any outstanding humanitarian goals. Something like this would be more appropriate:

I am attracted to Unilever because of its great reputation as one of the world's leaders in consumer

Different people have different approaches to this kind of thing.

I think you should keep yourself in the focus, instead of praising the company. so much. They already know it's a great company..
Be as specific and concrete you can.
eg I want to
