Hello sir, I want to ask you one question
1)He later came to Los Angeles for two years, studying at a college called Occidental, a small private college here in L.A. What is the word "studying"in the sentence above acting ? Is it an adjective phrase or an adverbial phrase?Some are saying that it is an adjectival phrase because it modifies the subject "he" in the sentence and others are saying that it is an adverbial phrase because it talks about how the action happened.I am confused .
