Which one is the correct one?

1) He can't die that easily.

2) He can't die that easy.

1) He can't die that easily. His condition is not serious enough that he might die.
2) He can't die that easy. His death won't be that easy; he will suffer.
Both are correct. We can replace "can't" with "won't".
