Which one is the correct one? Why?

1) I heard her say this.

2) I heard her saying this.

Both are correct. If you heard her one time, and you heard the entire thing, then probably the first is more expected.

Both are correct. Only the meaning is different, but it's not very different at all.

1) focuses on the finished act of saying it.
2) focuses on the process of saying it as it was happening.
