Which one is the correct one?
Can you explain to me when we use "addicting" and when we use "addictive"?

1) This game is very addicting.

2) This game is very addictive.

Thanks for the spelling correction AG. Addicting as an adjective is considered non-standard outside of North America, and in many circles within the U.S. it is considered incorrect/informal when used as an adjective. That may be arbitrary, or inconsistent when compared to other participial adjectives as you point out, but I think learners should still be informed about these controversies in order
