Which one is the correct one?

1) The picture you gave me is hanging on the wall.

2) The picture you gave me is hung on the wall.

hang, hung. Difference tenses and different time lines. They need to match. You gave =/ now hangs or is hanging. Hung = was hung . The picture you HAD given me, was hung on the wall. HE HAD hung the picture on the wall. Or He hung the picture carefully. Don't mix tenses.
