English Grammar?

This is a hypothetical situation:

Let's say a creature comes and abducts me. I have time to make a phone call to let a friend know about where I am or what happened to me while I'm sitting in the prison cell he/she put me in.

Would I say "I have been abducted. I need help!" Or would I say "I'm abducted. I need help!" ?

Thanks! ^-^

Top answer

It would be "I have been abducted", or in practice usually "I've been abducted" in conversation. Glad it's only hypothetical.
