Please let me know which of the following sentance is correct?

1. She said that USA is a great nation.
2. She said that USA was a great nation.

If you add the USA, both are correct.

Please let me know which of the following sentance is correct?

1. She said that the USA is a great nation.
2. She said that the USA was a great nation.

Either is okay. The first would not be correct if something had changed her opinion about the USA, but you can keep the present tense in reported spee
