Ah come on. Be nice to us. One at a time would have been nicer.

Phrasal verbs = a verb plus a preposition, resulting in a verb with a modified meaning. Examples: "stand up", "sit down", "break in", "break out".

If you're in America you can even "listen up", but I haven't quite figured out in what way that is different from "listen".
