Professionals tell me to watch my expressions. Does this mean I can’t put words together?

An expression is a group of words written as a unit, and intended to have a meaning. The order of words in an expression is not to be changed. You must make sure that you use the correct prepositions (to, for, of,...) in expressions. Also, don't use synonyms.
